Hey I'm Aaron!I got into photography in 2020, during the pandemic when everything started to feel the same. Picking up a camera changed that. It made me slow down and see things differently.Photography became more than just something creative quite quickly. It helped my mental health and gave me a way to express things I’ve never been great at putting into words. It’s always been easier for me to show something through an image than to try and explain it.In the last year, life’s been busy in the best way. I got engaged to my partner Liz, we bought a house together, and I moved into full-time work in IT as a Field Technician. Creativity took a bit of a back seat during all of that, but photography never fully went away. I still picked up the camera when I could and took on work when the right things came up.Now things have settled, I’ve realised how much I’ve missed having my camera in hand consistently. Photography is something I need in my life. Not just as a creative outlet, but as a way to connect with people and capture real, honest moments. You can see that throughout my photography.I’m looking to get behind the camera more, connect with people, and capture moments that feel real.
